Hello!! My name is Javier Cardona. I am originally from Bogota, Colombia, but I have lived in the United States for the past twenty-six years. I initially became interested in training dogs after adopting Nala, an insecure German Shepherd, whom I rescued in Atlanta. I instantly fell in love with the art, when I saw how dog training not only had an impact on Nala,but also on me. In order to pursue my newfound passion, I left my corporate job and have dedicated myself to helping dogs and their families create strong bonds. Since joining Through The Leash, I have had the opportunity to expand my knowledge by working with some of the best trainers in the industry. I look forward to sharing my expertise and adoration for animals with dog owners so that they, too, can enjoy a harmonious life with their pups!
